Macbeth:-

Shake and Stir is one of my favourite companies- they always have creative shows with amazing visuals. Macbeth was a futuristic version. They used video as well and incorporated it into the show. The video gave depth to the characters and allowed all audience members to see the cast up close at certain points. A very memorable show! I saw Nelle their artistic director after the show and had a photo with her. 

Heathers

Heathers was all I imagined it would be! I think the young audience were drawn to this because of the relevant school themes of bullying and popularity. It was a great cast. The girl playing Veronica was probably my second favourite after Barrett Wilbert Weed. 

Life, Oh Life (an evening with Gillian Cosgriff)
Not my first comedy show but certainly a memorable one as I became part of the show's narrative when I was identified as the youngest audience member! I loved the special moment we were all able to open the little envelope we had been handed on the way in. It contained advice from the previous night's audience. My advice read 'Eat Bananas!' Ironic as I loathe them! At the end of the show we all had to write advice and put it in our own envelope for the next night's audience. Because I had been a part of the show, I got to meet Gillian Cosgriff, the host and creator of the show.

Death of a Salesman.

After the show this evening I was lucky enough to meet famous Australian actor Anthony Lapaglia! We had just watched the three hour play 'Death of a Salesman' by Arthur Miller where he played the lead character Willy Loman. He looked absolutely exhausted! The energy to keep a character alive on stage for three hours straight is intense. Fun fact:- playwright Arthur Miller was married to Marilyn Monroe. Their marriage was the longest of her three marriages, lasting nearly five years.
